We are so very excited to welcome Adele Ferreira to our wonderful team as the new Program & Camps Coordinator! In her new role, Adele will develop and implement programs to offer people with disability in our community meaningful opportunities to develop their daily independent living skills and to access the community. Adele brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, warmth and enthusiasm to our team and is eagerly looking forward to increasing access and inclusion of people with disability in our community.
I am blessed to have been in part of a “people-caring-career” my whole life, a social worker in South Africa and then in aged care and disability since I immigrated to Australia, almost nine years ago (one of the best decisions of my life!). I met my husband in this beautiful “land of milk and honey” six years ago and we settled in Geraldton end of last year, with 3 grown kids (first grandchild on its way) and 2 fur babies. I am excited to get to know everyone in the Midwest Community and I can’t wait to hear all of the ideas you have for programs and camps.
