MWCLA will be hosting a number of free information sessions about the NDIS over June and July 2019 about specific topics that will affect you. You are welcome to come to as many as you like that you think are relevant to you or you'd like more information on.

Support Coordination

What happens after you get your first NDIS plan

After you've been through your meeting with the NDIA Planner, you'll receive your NDIS Plan which details the funding you have been allocated and what it is for. But then what do you do? In this session we will explain the next steps that you'll take after getting your NDIS plan so you can start accessing funded supports.

NDIS Participants have three options for managing the funds allocated in their plans, each with it's own pros and cons. In this session we'll explain each of the options so you can decide which management option will be best for you.

Supports for Independent Living - Your Place or Ours

Living independently is an important goal for many people with disability. NDIS provides funds under Supported Independent Living to provide support for assistance with daily living, which can be in a house rented through MWCLA, your own home or mainstream rentals.
